Plant Supervisor

Job Summary

The Plant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role involves leading a team of operators, coordinating production schedules, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily plant operations and manage production schedules to meet customer demands.

  • Lead, train, and develop a team of production workers, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Monitor production metrics and quality standards, addressing any issues promptly to minimize downtime and waste.

  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure equipment is functioning properly and perform routine inspections.

  • Analyze production data and prepare reports for management, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Coordinate with supply chain and inventory management teams to ensure materials are available for production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/manufacturing, or related field preferred but not required;

    equivalent experience will be considered.

  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least [X] years in a

    supervisory role.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 30 lbs.

  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, machinery,

    and varying temperatures.
