Driver
Position Overview
A Driver, Goods/Materials/Passengers will safely operate Company vehicles to deliver goods, materials. This position may also assist in general warehouse duties such as stocking and retrieving packages and bulk containers and general cleaning. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but FLS may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
Essential Duties
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection.
Responsible for cleanliness of vehicle.
Deliver clean linen to the customers in a timely manner.
Load and unload product at each facility.
Take inventories at the facilities in the linen rooms. (IF NEEDED)
Unload clean linen and stock on shelves at required locations.
When necessary, pick up the soiled linen at the facility when it is on the floor.
Maintain quality customer service and interaction with customers.
Ensure packing slips are signed.
Return signed packing slips to the Office.
Fuel vehicle and maintain the receipts for accurate accounting.
Ensure that all receipts are turned in to FLS.
Maintain accurate recordings in drivers logs.
Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
Maintain a clean driving record.
Maintain and provide proof of Driver Medical Card, if necessary.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Experience/Knowledge
High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
Skills/Aptitude
Ability to present self in a highly professional manner to others and understand that honesty and ethics
are essential.

Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors,

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Must be able to meet delivery times and requirements.
Physical Requirements
Significant walking or other means of mobility.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40
pounds.
Working Conditions
May add additional conditions specific to defined work location.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment;
however, may be exposed to heat/cold.
Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Wear protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment required by the work environment or
governmental regulations.
